Id really like to start cooking and eating meats but im worried about food poisoning, how can i be extra safe?

- Chosen by Voters If you cook the meat until it is done and the juices run clear, you will have no problem. One of the most important things with meat is cross contamination of raw meat/juice with other foods. Make sure that you are sanitary in the kitchen and have a non-wooden cutting board for meats. (Wood is porous and the juices will soak into the board making it unsanitary for veges and other non cooked foods.) Be sure to clean up after yourself and wash you hands often. I use a little bleach in a sink of water to wipe up after handling any meat. It is the cheapest cleaner and it is the BEST. Just make some soapy water in the sink, and add a splash of liquid bleach. Use it to clean the counters, cutting boards, and everything else, too. While it is handy, don't forget the door knobs, refrigerator door, the chair backs, and the light switches. If you child is young, use it to wash the toys, too. You will be amazed how there will be fewer colds in the house. Good luck with the meat cooking. Why do chinese people feel the need to cook more food than is needed?

Wednesday, February 29th, 2012

Chinese hosts want to make sure that their guests never leave an empty plate. There should always be left-overs, otherwise they won't have filled their guests stomachs, and they will have failed in their obligation to be good hosts. That might explain why they always cook more than is generally needed. Even if you aren't full, in Chinese culture, it's always good to leave a little bit of food on your plate, to let the person who cooked you the meal know that they did well and that you're satisfied. If you clear your plate, you will generally be given more, even if you don't want it. It's the same with drinks too. It’s a well-known reality that the World wide web has fully changed lives of modern people. These days far more and far more individuals prefer to use the Net for all their wants. At present we can freely communicate with friends and relatives who live in diverse parts in the world without any difficulties, since we have the Web! It’s significantly cheaper and easier to communicate with your business partners on the Internet. A great deal of folks use the Internet for making money; many attempt to meet inside the Globe Wide Web their love and every day a lot more and more men and women start to buy items via the Web.

Among my friends and acquaintances you’ll find numerous of those who order goods on-line, As an example my brother bought a speaker system on eBay several weeks ago. He was hesitating which speaker system to choose, but finally he came to conclusion that Yamaha Speaker systems would be essentially the most appropriate for him.

Frankly speaking I haven’t seen this speaker system yet, simply because I visited my brother for the last time much more than a month ago, but he described me it in particulars. His speaker system is great, simply because it was made for an iPod. As he said it really is a bit large, but space in his flat allows it. But how does it work! My brother says that the sound is fantastic. There’s a USB port so he can charge and/or sync his iPod from it if. But unfortunately it doesn’t work with the iPhone, simply because it wasn’t made for it, but he can connect other devices to it.

The style is also fantastic. The gray and black stereo tower is nearly all metal, with thick plastic mounting brackets for the two speakers. The separately packed tower speakers connect for the system with a special connector that fits into a female socket. With a small twist, the speakers are steadily in place. The modern floor-standing design may not appeal to some, but my brother appreciates the minimalist approach to its chassis.

My brother liked the cost in the speaker system too. And in common he is pleased with his buying.

Wednesday, February 29th, 2012

I would. Over an open fire. Then use the feathers to either decorate something in a folk art style or to stuff a pillow. You idiot redneck…. Thought you were funny by posting this in the veg section. LMAO…. NOT! bc it was lame. I'm veg b/c I think if animals are killed for meat, it should be by a hunter or small farmer and then all the parts should be used. 9 months ago 1 person rated this as good You're cuteee

Is food cooked in olive oil fat free ? Does it have cholestrol in it ? ?

Wednesday, February 29th, 2012

- Chosen by Voters All oil is fat. There are just different types of fat. Cholesterol comes from animal products like milk, cheese, butter and lard. Oils that come from plants, such as olive oil, peanut oil, and safflower oil don't have cholesterol. There are two types of fats, HDL (High Density Lipid) and LDL (Low Density Lipid). The way to tell them apart is that LDL fats are solid at room temperature. Those are the bad fats. Butter is an LDL fat. If you boil a chicken, then let the water cool, you get that layer of fat that solidifies on the surface. Also an LDL fat, and with Cholesterol because it's an animal product.HDL fats are liquid at room temperature. So olive oil is an HDL fat.LDL fat will collect in your arteries over time. HDL fat will actually take the LDL fat out of the arteries over time.Remember HDL (H is for Healthy) and LDL (L is for Lethal) That's how I remember them. 3 years ago 100% 1 Vote

What is a good chemistry project project having to do with the chemistry of food?

Wednesday, February 29th, 2012

- Chosen by Voters This isn't actually a suggestion for a project, but you should watch a couple of episodes of "Good Eats" (On Food Network). He has a scientific way of looking at food, and may help you come up with some ideas. (Also, it's just fun to watch.) 5 years ago 50% 2 Votes
