Should I get a food processor or a blender?

Saturday, May 19th, 2012

- Chosen by Voters Hi Snoslydder, I would get a food processor as you can do more things with it. Most will pretty much blend most things anyway. Get the most powerful motor that you can afford with a few speeds and a "pulse" action. I hope this helps, all the best. Rab Source(s): I am a Chef. 10 months ago 100% 1 Vote

Is it ok to use cumin seeds & garlic in baby food?

Saturday, May 19th, 2012

my daughter is 10 months and i give her everything in small quantities. If she doesn't like it she soon lets me know by giving it back. Once i'm satisfied she hasn't reacted to it i give it more regularly. She loves spaghetti bolognaise, complete with herbs and garlic and a piece of garlic bread to chew on! She likes chicken tikka too, so i'd say go for it, just exercise the usual caution when trying something new. And have fun! 3 years ago 2 people rated this as good thanx

How safe is it to use anodised aluminium utensils for cooking?

Saturday, May 19th, 2012

- Chosen by Voters the anodizing process adds a hard oxide coating to aluminum that should not react with anything the way an pure aluminum pot/pan would. with general wear, the anodized layer should never merely wear off, but it can be scratched and that should be be avoided. use the same care you would in using any non-stick cookware, and you should be ok. 2 years ago 100% 1 Vote

Cooking?! What would you want to see?

Friday, May 18th, 2012

I would love to see a show that uses things that I can find in a regular grocery store. Ingredients that I can understand and use and can buy easily without running to 3 different stores to locate them. I would love for the person to not only use readily available ingredients, but make simple, fast, wholesome, good meals. I would also like to see a Weight Watchers show. A show that shows me how to make great tasting food, that I can use for my points. Show me how to get the most out of my points and feel satisfied and full. If there is already a show out there like that, please let me know. 4 years ago 1 person rated this as good Thanks. Is there a name you think could go with it?
