Is there anything you can do with cooking canned tuna?

I make pasta with tuna sauce. Sounds odd, but it's delicious if you give it a shot. Honestly, there is NOT a strong tuna taste with this sauce.Cook whatever pasta you have. This sauce literally takes less than 5 minutes to make.Soften chopped onion and a clove of minced garlic in a little olive oil in a large frying pan.Add a can of tuna, breaking it up as you blend it with the onion and garlic.Add a can of tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes, some italian herb seasoning (or a bit of basil), and a dash of crushed red pepper if you have it, as well as salt and pepper to taste. I also like to add just a pinch of sugar to cut the acidity of the tomato.Serve with your cooked pasta. 4 years ago Marvelous and simple, Also thanks evryone else. good stuff. :D
